How long is the first paid subscription?

After the 7-day free trial, the first paid subscription period lasts 60 days.

How long are subsequent subscription renewals?

Subsequent subscription renewals are made in 30-day periods.

The subscription rate is ₦4,000 per month.

How are service providers verified?

Service providers are verified using NIN verification and facial verification as part of the Fix-N-Go verification process.

PAYMENT PROTECTION

Questions about protected payments

Payment Protection is designed to provide an additional layer of confidence for eligible transactions.

7.5% Charge to the payee

Where Payment Protection is available and selected, the payer makes the payment to Fix-N-Go. Fix-N-Go holds the payment until the agreed guarantee period expires.

The 7.5% Payment Protection charge is charged to the payee — either the service provider or spare-parts dealer, depending on the transaction.

The payee has the option of including the 7.5% charge in their own charges to the customer.

What is Payment Protection?

Payment Protection is a Fix-N-Go feature for eligible transactions where the payer chooses to have Fix-N-Go hold the payment until the agreed guarantee period expires.

How much does Payment Protection cost?

Payment Protection carries a 7.5% charge to the payee.

The payee is the service provider or spare-parts dealer, depending on the transaction.

The payee may choose to include this 7.5% charge in the charges they present to the customer.

Is Payment Protection compulsory?

No. Payment Protection is an optional paid feature where it is available for the relevant transaction.

Who receives the protected payment?

If there is no dispute during the agreed guarantee period, Fix-N-Go forwards the payment to the party it is due to under the transaction.

What happens if there is a dispute?

If a dispute is raised during the applicable guarantee period, the payment is handled according to the Fix-N-Go dispute process.

Where the outcome requires a refund to the payer, the payer is refunded.

What is the guarantee period?

The guarantee period is determined by the car owner and the service provider or spare-parts dealer, depending on the transaction.

The protected payment remains held until the agreed guarantee period expires, subject to the Fix-N-Go dispute process.

What is NIN verification?

NIN verification is part of the Fix-N-Go verification process for service providers and spare-parts dealers.

What is facial verification?

Facial verification is an additional identity verification step used together with NIN verification for service providers and spare-parts dealers.

Is verification the same as a guarantee of service quality?

No. Verification confirms that the relevant verification process has been completed. It does not mean that Fix-N-Go personally performs or guarantees every service or product supplied by a service provider or spare-parts dealer.

Can customers rate and review service providers?

Fix-N-Go provides ratings and reviews as part of the information customers can use when considering service providers and spare-parts dealers.

Should I rely only on a rating or review?

No. Ratings and reviews are intended to help with decision-making. Customers should also consider the provider’s services, location, verification status, applicable pricing and the details of the particular transaction.
